Conclusion of partnership agreement between Krosaki Harima and ArcelorMittal Refractories

May 24, 2021 - Krosaki Harima Corporation (with headquarters located in Kitakyushu, Japan) operating within the Nippon Steel Group informs that they have signed a partnership agreement with ArcelorMittal Refractories (with headquarters located in Kraków, Poland), part of the ArcelorMittal Group.

Both companies will carry out tasks aimed at optimizing production capacities and expanding the portfolio of refractory products of ArcelorMittal Refractories with Krosaki Harima’s manufacturing technology. Besides, the two companies will expand customer services for related refractory products towards European Steel Mills.

The companies undertake to exchange their expertise and good practices, and to conduct research on new local production solutions serving for the long term prosperity of the Iron and Steel Industry in Europe.
