JSW Steel's crude steel production increases in Q1 YoY

Jul. 15, 2021 - JSW Steel, a leading steel manufacturer in India, reported that its crude steel production reached 4.93 million tons in the first quarter of this fiscal year, rising by 13% compared to the previous quarter and also growing by 62% from the same period a year ago.

During the period, JSW Steel’s capacity utilization rate of its Indian business was 91%, dropping from 93% in the previous quarter as the firm supplied more than 65,000 tons of oxygen for medical uses in the Indian hospital system.
