British Steel shortlisted for 3 CIPS Excellence in Procurement Awards

Jul. 6, 2021 - The Procurement team at British Steel has been shortlisted for 3 honours at a prestigious awards ceremony.

The 2021 CIPS Excellence in Procurement Awards will be staged in September and British Steel has been named as a finalist in the following categories:

1. Procurement Team of the Year – Large Organisation

2. Best Collaborative Teamwork Project

3. Global Sourcing Project of the Year

Allan Bell, British Steel’s Chief Commercial and Procurement Officer, said: “Being shortlisted in any category is an excellent achievement, so to reach the final in 3 categories is something the whole team should be proud of.”
